Girls have a lot to say, that is why we should participate. If we do not participate someone else is going to take decisions in our place."

During the meeting young leaders held with Rut Krüger Giverin, Emily, a representative of Every Last Child in Nicaragua said: "We are working in our communities to reach every last child to ensure everybody participates to promote children's rights. Girls have a lot to say, that is why we should participate. If we do not participate someone else is going to take decisions in our place.”

Krüger Giverin, Norwegian ambassador for Mexico and Central America, and Ane Rosnes, Local advisor for Central America, visited Managua to meet five young representatives of the Every Last Child campaign in Nicaragua. Argentina Martinez, Save the Children Director, and Felix Balladares, Program Director, were also present at the meeting.

"I wanted to know how adolescents enjoy their rights. I'm very impressed because of their thoughts and actions to promote their own rights. Save the Children along with children and adolescents are developing wonderful things," said Krüger Giverin.

The ambassador listened to the young leaders experience to promote their rights across their community, what they have achieved, their challenges and future plans.
